About me

My name is Dan Hajducky and I am a writing/editing professional with over four years of experience in the magazine, newspaper, and publishing industries.

I attended Fordham University and Southern Connecticut State University as an undergraduate, recieving my B.A. in Professional Writing and Media Studies from SCSU. I received my MFA in Creative Writing from Fairfield University.

I currently work as a Senior Researcher for ESPN The Magazine. I spent January, and parts of February and April of 2016 as a proofreader in the Creative Services department of WWE. For the majority of 2015, I was the Assistant Editor and a Brand Team Leader at Moffly Media, working on their six publications (digital and print): atHomeFairfield Living, GreenwichNew Canaan-DarienStamford, and Westport magazines. I spent 2014 working as a fact checker/researcher for ESPN The Magazine, and prior to that, completed editorial internships with Hudson Whitman Press (through Fairfield University's MFA in Creative Writing program), and Connecticut newspapers the New Haven Register and Connecticut Post

I've written about books, television, and movies for Den of Geek US and reviewed fiction, nonfiction, and poetry for the San Francisco Book Review. I currently contribute to the "Books" section of and to The Arts Paper out of New Haven, Connecticut.
